Applications

They are used for the transport and storage of large volumes of food products, cement, textiles, agro-industrial products and other bulk products.

Types

They can be classified according to their shape:

Circular or tubular bags: Cylindrical.
U panel bags: Rectangular.
Baffles: They have divisions inside the bag.

They can be divided based on their filling and discharge systems: open mouth, loading valve, skirt and conical lid. Flat bottom, discharge valve, tapered bottom, open bottom.

Characteristics

They have ears at the top to allow their transport, they are designed with various types of filling and unloading systems, each one special for the material it contains. They are also manufactured with UV light absorbers, since sunlight weakens polypropylene; They are also sometimes manufactured to FDA specifications for containing food products. In cold environments, copolymerization with propylene-ethylene is used.
